Morimoto Asia Review

Our first night at Disney we had dinner at the long awaited Morimoto Asia in Disney Springs. I don’t think it was quite as busy as I would expect it to be soon due to the not being able to book a reservation through Disney online until November (we went on October 25th).

First of all, let me say that the decor inside the restaurant is stunning! There was definitely a lot of thought and detail put into the design. My favorite aspect of the decor by far were the lights hanging from the ceiling. My phone camera isn’t that great, so the pictures don’t do the restaurant justice.

Now, for the food. We tried the pork dumplings and the spicy tuna roll for our appetizers. The dumplings were delicious, but the highlight of the entire meal for us was the sushi. It’s probably the best I’ve ever had.

For the entrees, my husband had the Kung Pao Chicken and I tried the Orange Chicken. The food was really good and it definitely seems like they try to give you your money’s worth. Unlike the typical small bites of chicken, it was more like six huge orange chicken tenders. I wish I had taken a picture, but we were so hungry after our long drive that we just digged in as soon as we got our food. Needless to say, I couldn’t finish all of the food (there was rice with the dish as well).

The only disappointment was that I couldn’t take the rest of the food with me since we were staying at a hotel with no means of reheating the food. I would definitely recommend Morimoto Asia to anyone going to Disney World and/or Disney Springs. We’ll be eating here again for sure during our next trip to Disney World! Although, next time I think we’ll just make a meal out of dumplings and sushi.
